What started out as an idea by 3 guys who wanted to help the Uth; shift gears from ‘Neutral’ to ‘GO’ and has now hit ‘Top Gear’. We have over 8,000 fans on Facebook and over 700 followers on Twitter. Our motto stands true, ‘For the students, by the students’ and we have worked hard to keep it honest.
UthMag aims to be THE Youth Portal which is both; informative and entertaining. With a mixture of articles, sound bytes, videos, pictures, events, contests and so on; we try and keep it fresh. It includes content ranging from cars and video games to real life experiences and light banter.
UthMag aspires to be a refreshing change from all the organizations on the market that cater to the youth. We want to connect you with like minded people and provide the freedom to express your take on the opinions published. We have about 95 students currently working on this project from schools and universities across Dubai and is continuously expanding.

From the get-go we probably should make it clear that we aim to be an ideological and social revolution. Which means we fight to change the way the Uth try and approach their daily lifestyle, thinking and decisions. Long gone are the days where every person in the category of 16 – 23 is considered a tax burden and a monumental waste to society. It’s time that the true revolutionary potential of the Uth be highlighted and utilized.
UthMag is not just a magazine, portal or website. It encompasses an experience and transition for students to realize their potential. It has taken upon itself to cover anything and everything “Uth”. We feed off the passion and zeal which is reflected by our 95 strong man-power of Uth between the ages of 18 – 23. We employ no seasoned professionals and rely completely on the potential and knowledge of the Uth.
Whats new and fresh about this magazine you ask?
We at UthMag understand that if you fit in our target audience, you probably have the attention capacity of a fly. No one likes to read long rants by narcissistic authors or dog-piles of literature that goes nowhere. The Uth of today want to be informed and intellectually challenged while keeping themselves aware of the trials of the real world. All this before the next episode of “Sons of Anarchy” or “Gossip Girl” finishes downloading. We rely heavily on graphic illustrations made by our designers along with pictures clicked by team members to match the tone of articles. We try our best to publish provoking topics that inspire discussions; thus converting it into a sort of online forum open for debate. Our material is relevant and understandable with less emphasis on technical details to ensure that a wide range of people can enjoy the same. Also we like to spoil our readers by giving them a chance to participate in contests, attend events and win gifts and prizes.
