FERRY CORSTEN to play the du forum, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
Get ready for the coolest summer party in Abu Dhabi, as FLASH Entertainment today confirmed that the fully air conditioned du Forum (previously known as the FLASH Forum) will welcome Ferry Corsten on June 28th as part of another Yas Island Show Weekend.
The Dutch trance music producer has been a popular fixture in Abu Dhabi over the last few years; he was part of the headline acts at Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2011 and appeared at SKYBAR at the du Forum in 2010.
This will be his first solo appearance in the Capital; an event which will see the international DJ spin hits form his fourth studio albumWKND. Clubbers will also enjoy the support sounds of warm-up DJs Aly and Fila, and Mister Outlaw.

The Producer and DJ has been a visionary, regarded as one of the few spinners who continue to deliver the best quality dance music to loyal fans across the globe. Corsten designed the Dutch trance sound, propelling it into the clubbing consciousness and international electronica.
The award-winning DJ’s list of associations is just as impressive, working with a wide range of international vocalists such as Simon Le Bon and Guru. He has also remixed music by some of the planet’s biggest artists, including: U2, The Killers, Faithless, Moby and William Orbit.
He began his career performing self-composed music in his native country Holland. In 1991 he produced the embryonic rave track‘Spirit of Adventure’ and then in 1995, at the age of 21, under the name Hole-In-One, won the prestigious De Grote Prijs van Nederland award in recognition for his outstanding contribution to Holland’s electronic dance music scene.
While he’s not spinning, Ferry Corsten is working with the Dutch World Wildlife Fund. He will appear at the du Forum, Yas Island- Abu Dhabi on 28th June. Tickets go on sale tomorrow Thursday 24th May at noon, from www.thinkflash.ae.
