Live Nation Announces Full List For The dxb Music Festival 2012
Live Nation Middle East today announced the full lineup for the 2nd annual dXb Music Festival on October 5th at Festival Park, Dubai Festival City. The festival, which launched in 2011, was a world class production and the first ever multi stage electronic festival in Dubai, headlined by LMFAO. It was nominated for Best Festival for the 2011 Time Out Nightlife Awards.
Headlining the two stage festival is Grammy Award Winning DJ and Producer Afrojack, joined by platinum-selling group Far East Movement and Billboard chart topper Kaskade, who will both be make their Middle East debut.
Joining this year’s lineup is Dev, Shermanology, Rebecca & Fiona, Mistajam, The Zombie Kids, Phil K, Mister Outlaw and Virgin’s B.I.G Rossi; and returning to the stages following last year’s success, Tommie Sunshine, Kevin Shiu, Simon Reid, Charl Chaka, Jared McCulloch, with Live Visual Mix by Tony Pantages and Vello Virkhaus. Returning to this year’s stage, Tommie Sunshine, who is regarded as one of today’s most prolific remixers, said; “one of the best places in the world to play is Dubai. I was excited to come last year to the dXb Music Festival but am even more excited to return again this year. I have many musical treats in store for those who attend.”
