How I Met your mother: Season 7 – Episode 22 review
Ted and Robin are trying not to run into each other and this makes them both miss Lilly and Marshall’s baby shower. To get over Robin, Barney asks Ted to try out online dating and sets Ted up with 3 women. However Ted picks up similarities of his dates to Robin and visualises Robin instead of the date. Pseudo-Robin (now in the form of McLaren’s Bartender) eventually ends up convincing Ted that he must make amends and re-establish his friendship with Robin. As he is headed out he meets Robin, but she tells her it’s not the time to talk.

Meanwhile, Marshall is frustrated that Lilly isn’t doing her practice for when the baby arrives and Lilly is frustrated with all of Marshall’s tactics and tricks Marshall to take a vacation to Atlantic City with Barney. Trying to Wind him down, Barney proposes to wear his Ducky tie if Marshall turns off his phone for an hour and drink 100 tequila shots. After one hour Marshall is drunk while Barney turns his phone on to find 17 messages from Lily alerting that she is in labour.
Marshall is drunk… and the duky tie is back!
The Barney and Quinn relationship is strained as Barney starts to over-react every time her job is mentioned. In order to get her away from stripping, Barney fires a top GNB official and offers Quinn a job at the bank as an “executive strategy coordinator”. Seeing that Barney’s trying to dictate her career, Quinn asks for some time to think and leaves Barney, who reinstates the official.
