Pitbull in Dubai. A UthMag Report.
Pitbull in Dubai – Chartbusting, Mr Worldwide, Armando Christian Perez, better known as, Pitbull, raised the temperature in Dubai, with his show at the Trade Center Expo this past weekend. Supported by R & B sensation, Karl Wolf and Nina Kay, 2007 X-Factor contestant, the Planet Pit tour did not disappoint the sweat-packed arena.
Coming on well after-midnight, in his trademark black-suit with sunglasses, Pitbull in dubai, belted out one hit after another. Whether it was his classic club-anthem, Hotel Room Service or, his latest single, Back in Time, the crowd got the Pitbull fix they so strongly yearned for. The Latin-American super-star literally didn’t put a foot wrong throughout his set, which had him bang the cymbals on the drums, pluck some strings on guitars and shake his “booty” across the stage.

Dubai-bred, Canadian-singer, Karl Wolf provided the calm before the storm that was, Pitbull in dubai. Wolf swayed the crowd with his own brand urban pop and R & B. The crowd especially reacted to Wolf’s chatter in Arabic and reached a peak during his single, Yalla Habibi. The racy and energetic, Nina Kay gave some karoke-esque performances of some pop and club singles, but backed her singing with a spectacularly energetic dance moves. She definitely opened some eyes at the beginning of the show, specifically male eyes.
He breezed through a number of his various hit singles with various other artists. On the floor with Jennifer Lopez, DJ got us falling in love again with Usher, etc. were real crowd-pleasers and made the concert feel like it was worth the money. Pitbull also got the crowd bouncing to his much-loved Calle Ocho (I know you want me) before he closed the show with chartbusting single with Ne-Yo, Give me Everything Tonight. The crowd did get everything that night with Pitbull. The “everything” included, lots of fun, stronger calf-muscles with all that jumping and dancing and soggy clothes because of all that sweat which comes with a high-energy event such as this being held in an indoor arena, instead of the beach.
