You’ve ”probably” heard and read a lot about Breast Cancer lately. Cancer has been under the spotlight in the past few years; but Breast Cancer has been shunned in the shadow of that spotlight. With recent advancements in medicine, this is probably the only type of cancer that has a very high success rate when it comes to treatment. Studies have found that one in nearly 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer over the course of a lifetime, but you’re fooling yourself if you’re a man and you think you have no chance what so ever of developing this disease. Yes, you are of the “Y” chromosome and yes, you have no breasts, but wrath of cancer know nothing of this. Admitted, that the chances of a males having breast cancer are less, but they’re definitely not zero. So don’t ignore this article thinking it’s strictly targeted towards the women. If you have doubts, its always good to visit your local physician for advice. Let’s shoot down all those myths and false presumptions you may have about breast cancer and its symptoms.
