Why Youth Festival?

The most important advantage is that youth festivals, in an atmosphere of goodwill and friendship, highly contribute towards the unity of various diverse elements in the country. Each group of youth get an opportunity to reveal best and noblest in them, and also study what is best in others. In this way, youth festival helps to promote national integration- a supreme need of our country.

Such festivals also provide a key in community living. People with different regions have different modes of living, eating habits and wear different kinds of clothes. During youth festivals, students from different regions stay together. The community living in itself at a youth festival has an educational value. The oddities of the people of the various regions begin to look less disturbing on account of a feeling of familiarity and ones. Thus youth festivals prepare the youth for new tasks ahead and provide them with fine training grounds for a national integration.
